Discovery Camp was created by and is administrated by owner, Joanie Forbes. Joanie Forbes was born and raised in Orlando Florida. She graduated from Mercer University with her degree in Art Education. She has been working with kids in the field of art since 1979! She has been married for 31 years to Don Forbes and together they have two grown children. Their son Justin is married to Bethany and they have blessed Don and Joanie with their three grandchildren: Noah, Sofia and Eli. Jenny Forbes is their daughter and works closely with Joanie in Discovery Camp. Discovery Camp has been recognized in the past by Orlando Magazine as the Best Kids Camp In Orlando and also selected as the Best Kids Camp by the Orlando Moms Guide on-line. We believe that "Moms telling other Moms" is the best form of advertising.... so thank you for sharing with your friends about our camp!!!
